Where are you?

Organization is key when running a household: I try and keep things as organized as possible. That does NOT always work! I find that no matter how hard I try....things still go missing!

I am tired of looking for the stupid remote control....I say every time that it goes missing that I give up! But I continue to look for that thing for hours. The remote usually can be found in the 1 of 3 places: either the couch cushions, the kitchen or behind the TV. Lately though it has migrated to the bathroom, behind the couch and even in the garage.

I am tired of looking for a nail clipper or nail file when I need one! This one falls on hubby, because the children are not allowed to clip their nails alone....and besides the little child does not like her nails to be clipped at all! (Maybe she is the one hiding the clippers.) I have found the manicure products in the junk drawer, in the Longerberg Pencils basket, and even in the laundry room. This is one item that when I need it, I need it now! A broken nail is no fun to deal with....

Socks....socks and socks! I know that when I buy a package from Target they always include the matching one for free! So why is it that I can never find the match? It is always when I am in a hurry or the kids are late for school? I notice a pattern of they disappear when hubby does the laundry.

Every day I feel like I live my life as a scavenger hunt! You never know what might be missing, and where you find it! It would be interesting to account for how much time I have spent looking for these items, or maybe I don't want to know!
