In my spare time.....

So someone asked what do you do in your spare time? I burst out in laughter......I have no spare time. I wish we could have 2 extra hours in the middle of the day, and maybe I would have a spare moment!

So I thought I would quickly update everyone! BE SURE TO READ MY TOASTY KIDZ post for your chance to win a Toasty Kidz hat!

My kitchen re-model is starting next week....I am excited, yet nervous because Thanksgiving is coming and I need a kitchen to cook in! I have started packing boxes like a mad woman.

Yes, they could dress up for Halloween!

Madison my 12 year old went to her first Junior High Dance. All went as expected, and she had a wonderful time. She can hardly wait for the next one in December. I was completly BANNED from entering her school to get pictures. Madison asked our High schooler Morgan to come over and help get her ready! I was able to get pictures of that though.....along with the other girls that came over before the dance!

I just started a new job! Yes, for those of you who did not know, I was laid off from my nursing job in July! This brought a few tears and anger! 15 years I gave this employer and it all came down to a new boss. This new boss did not like me and so when I went back to work full time, it changed my status to new hire! Those are the first to go! So spending a few months at home and working at the YMCA, I had put my toes in the water and started to interview. I am happy to say that I am now employed with a great health care system. I look forward to many years with them. I start my new position this Monday! Wish me luck!
